MTV VMAs 2011: Justin Bieber and Johnson the snake tease Selena Gomez - Zap2it.com (blog)
Justin Bieber took to the MTV VMA red carpet on Sunday night holding his tiny snake Johnson.No, that's not some weird, creepy euphemism. That's really the snake's name. With a very special tribute to Britney Spears scheduled for the big awards show, we're guessing that Bieber wanted to throw in his own nod to the queen of pop.
Since Bieb's girlfriend Selena Gomez was interviewing celebs on the carpet, we were treated to that awkward moment where she tried to be professional while he teased her with Johnson. "What are you wearing?" she asked.
"I have a snake," he replied, waving it at her, as she squealed, "Stop! I know!"
She regained her composure as she asked him about performers Kanye West and Jay Z, but after she said, "Thank you for hanging out, babe," Bieb got his PDA on with a big smooch on the cheek. Aww. Young love.
